About me

Hi! My name is Renata and welcome to my blog. :) The name of my blog is the Latin meaning of my name, which is to be reborn. I just thought it is interesting enough to tell you. :) Now, let me tell you something about me.

I live in Ljubljana, which is the capital city of Slovenia. If you don't know where Slovenia is, find us on a map of Europe. It's the country in the shape of a chicken! :) 

I was born on 31st of December in 1988 in Ljubljana. Cool, right? As a child I liked creating things but after failling the admission test for studies of film direction I enroled in Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Ljubljana. I got my Master's Degree in Mathematics in 2013.

In the last year of my studies the creative side of me awoke when I started writing children's stories. My dream is to write stories for children (and adults) to help them understand the world and relationships better and make them feel comfortable with themselves. I also have a blog about mathematics (currently only in Slovene) to prove mathematics is more interesting than formulas we learn in school.

In my spare time I like swimming, freediving, reading lots of books, sewing with my old sewing machine, cooking vegetarian food, making smoothies, cycling with my boyfriend and traveling.

I am trying to translate as many posts to English as I can, but I will focus on my children's stories first.
